Blue Hat Events has been planning corporate year-end functions since 2006, from our office in Doringkloof, Centurion. We run year-end parties, gala dinners, awards evenings and relaxed staff get-togethers for companies across Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand and Johannesburg. You tell us your date, headcount, budget and the kind of night you want. We find the venue, build the theme, book the entertainment and run the evening, so the person organising it gets to enjoy it too.
Now booking November and December 2026 dates. The Fridays from late November to mid-December are the first to go at most venues, so the earlier you contact us, the more choice you'll have.

Our office is in Centurion, halfway between Pretoria and Johannesburg, so we work easily across both cities. We regularly plan year-end functions in Centurion, Pretoria East, Menlyn, Midrand, Sandton and Fourways, and further afield on request.
The right venue depends on your group and budget. Hotels and conference venues suit formal gala dinners. Restaurants with private rooms work well for smaller teams. Outdoor venues and stretch tents give you space for a bigger party, and for some companies the best option is to bring the party to the office, with our DJ, lighting and party hire equipment turning a boardroom or parking area into a function space.

A relaxed party at your office costs much less per person than a three-course gala dinner at a hotel with a band. Send us your headcount, date and budget, and we'll show you what that budget gets you, with every item listed. If your budget is fixed, we'll design the function around it rather than the other way round.
For a Friday or Saturday in late November or the first half of December, book as early as you can. Two to three months ahead is ideal. Those dates are the first to go at most venues. Weeknights, early November and January functions are easier to find at shorter notice.
You choose. We can handle everything, from venue sourcing, theme and décor, catering coordination, DJ, sound and lighting, MC and entertainment, photo booth and staff transport to on-the-night management. Or we can provide only the parts you need, such as a DJ and lighting for a venue you've already booked.
